I am setting up voice over Ip, I have set up vlan trunking (encapsulation dot1q) between a pair of sites. At the remote end the ip and MS domain access is fine however the IPX is not working as I would like. I can only see one ipx server until I log in then I see all of them. I have tried changing the vlan settings to another segment but get the same effect (although with a different server) anyone come across this before, or any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

What is the IOS image your running on your router? I have these problems a lot.

The version of code on the 1751 routers is 12-2(4) however it seems we discovered an issue with the L3 router card.

We run a lot of IPX in our network. We've come to find out that when Cisco releases a new version of their "latest & greatest" IOS that they seem to make the buffers for IPX traffic smaller than IP traffic. Makes sense. IP is more popular than IPX. But in our Network, IPX is 80% of all the traffic. Needless to say, when we run any new versions of code, IPX pukes. We alway have to stay about 2-3 revs behind what Cisco TAC recommends. Just an FYI if you run a lot of IPX.
