IPX/SPX connectivity probs - Netbuilder to Cisco

We have set up a WAN link from a Netbuilder II to a Cisco 2600 and find that we are having problems using Novell rconsole outwards to the Cisco. We can rconsole the other way without any problems. Both routers show the appropriate routes correctly and we can ipxping both ways. Does anyone have any detailed knowledge of 3Com/Cisco IPX config options which might affect this?
