IPWorks Ping Timeout

You'll have to excuse me, I'm not a programmer. I'm just asking on 'behalf' of one.

The developers we are using for our network tool are using IPWorks. Part of the process carries out a ping sweep. The timeout for the ping is 1000ms. They are convinced that it can't be changed, but this seems really high to me (other tools have a timeout of 10ms).

Is there a way to change the timeout in IPWorks?
