Hi all looking at introducing IPv6 onto the network for branchecache and direct access reasons but am unsure what ip ranges to use.

Currently we have 12 sites with different ip ranges. e.g. site 1 - 10.1.x.x/16. site 2 - 10.2.x.x/16. site 3 - 10.3.x.x/16 etc. What would be the equivelant private ip ranges within ipv6 to use for each office?

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.

The aren't private addresses with IPv6 like there is for IPv4. One of the main goals of IPv6 is to ensure gloabal reachability.

For local traffic, there is link-local addresses but they obviously are for the local segment only and not routed. If you want to communicate accross segments you need to use global addresses.
