Just curious ... has anyone out there mastered IP addressing with IPv6 (128 bit IP addresses) yet? I read an explanation of how it works somewhere on the web (can't remember where??) and it seemed to be ridiculously complicated!!
I was just pondering over this with a colleague last night. Look how hard it is for many people when it comes to studying TCP/IP and 32 bit IP addresses, subnetting and all!! It can be a confusing topic for many students. Now imagine those same students that are having trouble with 32 bit IP addresses, having to learn how to work with 128 bit IP addresses!! We're all going to have to learn it sometime!!
Just a thought!
Chris.
