Hi
I have setup a VPN server on a windows server 2008 r2 server IPv4 is working fine however IPv6 does not.
The client gets an IPv6 address from the VPN server however it doesn't seem to be able to route out side of the server, I can do a trace and I see the VPN server on trace then the rest fails.
I have run a TCP dump on my webserver and tried pinging it from my laptop over IPv6 via the VPN and I can see the webserver is getting the IPv6 traffic but doesn't seem to be able get back to the laptop, it looks like the VPN server is not responding to neighbor solicitation requests so the traffic is unable to get back to the laptop via the VPN.
I have checked the firewall settings on the VPN server and set its allow ICMPv6 so neighbor solicitation and pings at least should be working, but its not.
Does anyone have any idea on how to get this working?
Has anyone had this working over a VPN using windows server?
Thanks
