GCSComments: IPv6 is on the IP Office Roadmap with initial release targeted for Calgary.  This is a major effort and will need to be phased in over more than one release before completely delivered.

So it is sort of coming :)

I have three of those Calgary release considerations.
I think this is 8.0 (Calgary)

Bombay is 7.0
Athens was 6.1

To complete your answer.
I think it will be a part of the Linux IPO part.
The Linux apps dvd already has IPv6 so it should not be a big problem.
It will require a lot of programming it in to the software but that is not our problem :)

I also did a request for a VPN option within the Linux apps.
This will eliminate the need of a 3th party router.

The Linux DVD has a none running Media Server installed on it. Take from that what you will!!!

Jamie, what do you mean?
Everything is ready for the ipo software but the software itself is not there.

I can't remeber what i did, but ran a CLI command that listed the running software and it showed a Media Server that was stopped, alongside the running VM Pro and One-X.

Hi Jamie

The "isa" part is the ipoffice part which is not there yet.
It is all prepared and working but they took out the software itself.

R8 could be far more interesting than R7!

Indeed, although i find R7 interesting too.
I only odo not like the quick at all!!!

It does not make any sense to me that it will be the default operation mode.
It should be an option like partner and norstar mode.

:) funny guy :)
We are still ontopic.
It is al about the future releases and what we want to see or what is there.

My guess is that there is a long period of IPv4 for internal networks and the IPv6 on the Internet before it finally gets to all IPv6.
So far I have not had the need for IPv6 and I have to tell you I am hesitant to go there, I hope I am retired by then, LOL
give me another 51 years as I am working on my "freedom 95" plan
