Can IPSI's be upgraded through the services port? If so, can someone point me to the procedures?

I'm getting 'copy2flash' failures when trying to upgrade from fw54 to fw56.
I've tried via web intfc and linux cli with same result.
Tried busy, reset, reseat with same result.
Tried a new file with same result.

Support site leads me to believe there is a 60 second timer that may be the culprit, but it needs to be upgrded to 56 to fix.

Thinking that using WinSCP directly to the IPSI directory, or a put/get command, but don't know the correct directory.

Thanks

This can be done from linux or the web browser

I can't find the procedure in the doc to transfer directly from my laptop to the IPSI through the services port.

The doc doesn't state it as not valid. Should I assume that it's not a valid way?

Thanks

So plug your laptop into services port(ETH 1) on the 8700, bring up a browser and type 192.11.13.6, this should get you to the maintenance web page. Type your username and password, then start on page 28 of the instructions.
