Whenever I get a new IPSI board, there is a 25' grey cable with a female 9-pin connector with the slide-lock on one end and pair wires on the other.

I assumed it was used to connect to the 9-pin connector on the adapter that goes on the amphenol cable on the back of the cabinet, but that is a female connector too.

Does any one know what the heck this is for?

it is used to carry -+48v as the aux cable used too, for power fail transfer relay panel/power for attendent console.

there is a document that explains all on the support web site but i cant find it!!!!!

Double-checked. The IPSI cable has a male connector, unlike the CLAN/Medpro board adapters. Heaven forbid they should be interchangable.
