IPSEc with netopia R910 and Sonicwall TZ170

I have a Netopia R9102XL connecting to a LinkSYS. I used this doc to get things working
Make sure you turn off compression. If you have a Netopia to Netopia VPN setup, compression works and the tunnel establishes.
If you have a netopia on one end and another device on the other end, compression wil not allow the tunnel to establish. That's the probelm I have with my LinkSys.
