I have a my work laptop that needs to connect to my work VPN connection and we use a SonicWall VPN. I have the client software installed and can log into my work domain, but no incoming secure packets come in. I have IPSec passthru enabled on the BEFSX41, yet nothing comes inbound. What can I do to correct this? My laptop logs into my home network with a DHCP. So I can't assign it to a static local. I also tried that port triggering with 50, and 500. What am I doing wrong?

I have heard that if you disable the ipsec it works. Have you tried that? Also have you updated your firmware? The only other thing I can think to try is to change your ip scheme at home. You might be on a 192.168.1.x If your network at work is the same, I have seen conflicts. Change it to something like 192.168.142

Try this:

Filter Tab:
Make sure both IPSec and PPtP are checked to enable to pass through. If other VPN-endpoing is a Win2K server, disable IPSec pass-thru.

Forwarding Tab:
VPN 1723 - 1723 Both TCP and UDP checked Address: 192.168.1.xxxx (your local address)

You can try, if port triggering works reliably on your router, this alternative to port forwarding above:
VPN 47 - 47_____________1723 - 1723
VPN 50 - 50______________500 - 500

Apply, then Continue
