Can anyone shed any light on how the IPSec filters play into setting up IPSec. I would only like to require IPsec for communications with specified other machines. I can see where to add filters and where to take action based on filters but the actions don't seem to be tied directly to a filter. for instance the default is All ICMP traffic and All IP Traffic. And the defualt actions are permit unsecured traffic, request security, and Require security. It also says that the filters and actions are shared by all IPSec Policies. I'm missing something here.
Also, in terms of using certificates for authentication. I found a verisign cert in my computer. is it appropriate to use this one for IPSec authentication?
