Guys

There is a command that will tell you the status of the channels on the IPPad on the IPS (I have had the information in the past but now lost it) does anyone here know what it is and what the data it returns means?

In the past I wrote a tool that scanned the channels and reported the status of them and I want to re-create it since I have lost access to it now.

Try this one,
F53> 0491> Display of IP PAD Pattern, 00 = IPT, 01 = CNF/DAT, 02 = DTerm/AD-8/EZP, 03 = PHS, 04 = DTI, 05 = PRI/BRI, 06 = SLT, 07 = COT/TIE.

No there is one that shows if it is in use or not and that is the one I am after. But thanks anyway.

This one?
contents of F53>0492 while IP-PAD is online:
This example shows:
IP-PAD Card 01 (byte 0), channel 10 (byte 1) were the last IP-PAD card & channel accessed.
CM F53 > 0492 >
001792B2: 01 0A 00 00
001792B6: 65 80 00 00
001792BA: 33 00 00 00
001792BE: 00 00 00 00

Yeah!!!

Found it! it is an F53 memory read that returns four two digit hex numbers, if you convert them to Binary you get 32 digits and they directly relate to the channels of the IP Pad 1 = idle and 0 = busy. It turns out that I have an earlier version on a disconnected hard disc that I have now connected to and with a bit of work I can get something working. It wont have all the bells and whistles I had in the original (you could click on a channel and busy it out in that one and there was the option to busy out or unbusy a complete Pad but I would struggle to do that again without a lot of work).

Watch this space for the tool!
