I'm pretty new to working on IPS's and I've got what I hope to be an easy question.

On a 16 key dterm i, is it possible to make the last 8 lines keys into DSS keys? And if so how?

Thanks

Programme them as one touch keys (CMD 9000 de extn No "," key No de F11XX exe) and then store the extn number on the key. You will have to make sure there are memories allocated to the extension in CMD 94 or this won't work.

As posted before....
For your info.....

DSS/BLF on feature keys.
1. First released 1800 series software IVS.
2. Feature is ONLY available on 2,4,8, and 16 button sets ONLY!!! 32 button sets have their designated one touch keys.
3. Feature is only available on Series E and Series I sets.
4. CM 73 and CM 94 for the Station MUST match.
5. The CM 73 and 94 memory assignment must be unique to each station using the feature.
6. The spd bin number must match the key number of the station. E.g. spd bin 3 (F1103)on key 03 of Dterm.
7. The lead digit of the station recorded under a key must = a station in the numbering plan at the time of assignment and not LCR. E.g. CM 200>2>A129 change to 804 then program station 2XXX under the DSS/BLF key before changing 2 back to 200>2>A129.
8. The station recorded under the spd bin/key must not have duplicate bins on the same station or BLF will not work. E.g if station 2000 is recorded under bin/key 3 it must not be placed under any other bin/key within the memory for that station.
