ips 2000 some extension phones problem

Dear all

We are using neax ips2000 system. some times we often found that some of the extension phones are dead having no dial tone. if we give ring to that particulars phones from other phone ..they use to get the ring and works as like as normal phones and there may not be any problem for some days... and again the same problem occurs.. we are surprised what will be the problem and how to solve the same in mat works 32..-

What are you doing to restore the phone? Are they IP phones? Is it the same phone each time? Is it confined to phones in the same PIM or FP? Your problem is not a normal issue and it will generate more questions than answers until a pattern is developed.
If there is no pattern to this issue, sometimes reseating the CPU corrects strange problems, however that is left as a last resort. Reseating the CPU requires first a back up be done, then power off the system, unplug the CPU then plug it back in. Before resorting to that, I would suggest you get more information about the issue.

Thanks for your message.. Here i would like to clarify the questions you have asked for..
1.They are analog phone instruments.
2..Most of the times the same numbers are getting this problem
3.One no. is in pim3 and other 2 nos are in pim4
4.All of a sudden they have come to out of order and if we give ring to them from other internal phones.. they gets ring and working normally...

Check your CP-15 in Pim 2,then check out your power supply in Pim 1 and 2.
