ipphone unable to transfer int/ext call as not taking any input ( Avaya ip office Manager 500V2 )

hello team , i have an avaya IP office manager 500V2 . i have almost 300 ip phone which are working fine but like in terms of transfer button that whenever i receive internal/external call if i want to transfer to any other internal extension i am unable to do ( i press transfer button but its not taking any input of extension ) . could you please help me guide what are the options to enable transfer for my ip phone .
 
At a minimum we would need to know what model of phones?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
 
You need to have at least 2 Call Appearance buttons on the user and enable Reserve Last CA.

This will make the phone busy for new incoming calls and leaves a CA button available for transferring the call.

Hello Guys able to fix this by the solution from one of tech above of having at least 2 Call Appearance buttons on the user , as it uses one call appearance for each call , so whenever we are transferring its using separate call appearance . As that was not configured so call transfer was not working .
