We setup twinning with all extensions.
Now x 209, his cell phone intercepts most of the incoming calls to the business main number.
The calls go to this guys voice mail, yet when I intercom x 209, sometimes he is able to answer.
I have logged out, then in, turned twinning off/on numerous times.
We have PRI
It seems issue with this guys cell phone providor?
Any thoughts?
Thank you

Is your main number going to a group? What type of group?

If you mean when you dial his ext and his cell phone voicemail picks up immediately, then set the twining guard to 2 or something.

I have something similar going on but, System is 11.0 and have a Collective HG with multiple users in it. 1 user out of the group has phone Twinned to Cell phone.
The main Number is routed to the group and sometimes the extn VM for the twinned extension picks up instead of it ringing the group. Other times user's cell phone rings and they are able to answer like they should. I have not been able to isolate a cause yet.

we also have a collective hunt group, but we are twinning about 16 users.
Many times it works as should, but I was just talking to the employee whose cell phone keeps answering the incoming pilot number phone call, and immediately directing them to his cell phone vm.
He said he cleared out his cell phone vm the day this started because he was notified on his phone his vm was at 100% capacity. Any thoughts ??
Thank you

There are 3 parameters that you need to work out with your Twinning users.

Mobile Dial Delay: Default = 2 seconds
This setting controls how long calls should ring at the user's primary extension before also being routed to ring at the twinning destination number. This setting may be used at the user's choice, however it may also be a necessary control. For example, if the twinning number is a mobile device that has been switched off, the mobile service provider may immediately answer the call with their own voicemail service. This would create a scenario where the user's primary extension does not ring or ring only briefly.

Mobile Answer Guard: Default = 0 (Off). Range = 0 to 99 seconds.
This control can be used in situations where calls sent to the twinned destination are automatically answered by a voicemail service or automatic message if the twinned device is not available. If a twinned call is answered before the Mobile Answer Guard expires, the system will drop the call to the twin.

No Answer Time: Default = Blank (Use system setting). Range = 6 to 99999 seconds.
Sets how long a call rings the user before following forwarded on no answer if set or going to voicemail. Leave blank to use the system default setting.

The Mobile Answer Guard is probably what you need to adjust.

Set his “mobile guard” under user >> mobility to 2 or more seconds.

May be something with the cell phone provider. Try to avoid the "Voice over LTE" option on the cell phone to see if it changes anything. I had a similar problem with that.
