We have an IPOffice in Japan with a convertor to allow the PRI card to be connected to Japanese Telecom. (J1 cards aren't supported or sold anymore I'm told...apparently since version 2.1)

This convertor works fine but there are a few grey areas that need to be ironed out.

The first is the outgoing number is always showing the bearer number and not any of the DDI's. Does anyone know how many digits are presented in Japan as I can't seem to find the info anywhere? (ie majority of the time in UK 6 digits are presented by BT)

Also weirdly (slightly related to above) the bearer number currently being given out is missing the "0" off the front of the number when it reaches the external party.
Is this normal is Japan for the number to be missing the 0 off the front??

Start Monitor and make a call into the system. You should then see how many digits are being presented as the "Called Number"
