IPOD volume

I have an Ipod Classic and I noticed that I cannot get the volume to go lower than a certain point. When I decrease the volume the volume bar goes down to nothing but after a certain point the volume levels out and doesnt go any lower.

Any ideas?

This is a fairly common complaint. If you really dislike it, let Apple know. Maybe they'll change the behavior with enough similar feedback.

Are you using an Apple remote control on your iPod?

I've noticed the volume misbehaves more when I use mine :-(

no i dont use an apple remote control on my ipod. I heard the same comment that rosenk said about the classic. I think its by design. I think its really stupid but what can you do.
