Hi Everyone!
I have quite a bit of experience with our older IPO406 system, but am still getting used to our new IP500 at a new office location. We've got things working well with our huntgroup, but now our supervisor(s) are interested in using the IP Office Customer Call Reporter dashboard (8.0.9.13) to keep tabs on the queue.
I've got a nice view setup displaying wait time, calls in queue, etc. There is an alarm set for Queue > Current Wait Time. The thresholds are as follows:
Warning Threshold: 10
Alarm Threshold: 30
The supervisor want to be alerted by a sound at 30 seconds when there is call waiting in the queue. The colors change on the status box for "Current Wait Time" but no sounds are heard at the 30 second mark when the box changes to red. During testing (using a variety of browsers including FireFox 16.X) sometimes the horrible alarm noise will come through after the call has been in queue for almost 120 seconds. Most of the time it's after i have given up and disconnected my test calls into the queue.
I saw in an Avaya implementation guide that Firefox needed a plugin, which i installed just to see what would happen.
What is going on here? Is there a way to force the IPOCCR system to be on time with audible alerts? I can understand if the noise is late by 5 seconds or so...but more than a minute later defeats the purpose of this alert. Can anyone offer any insight as to why this might be happening?
