Hello ..

I have the customer have the following Specification for IPOCC Deployment, is it compatabile or not:
I see the difference is Intel Xeon vs QuadCore and really I dont now the difference


Chassis with up to 8, 3.5" Hot Plug Hard Drives,
Intel Xeon E3-1220 v6 3.0GHz, 8M cache, 4C/4T, turbo (80W) ;
RAM : 2x8GB UDIMM, 2133MT/s, ECC;
HDD : 1 x 300GB 10K RPM SAS 12Gbps 2.5in Hot-plug Hard Drive,3.5in HYB CARR,13G ;PERC H330 Integrated RAID Controller; On-Board LOM 1GBE Dual Port (B CM5720 GbE LOM) ;Single Power Supply ; iDRAC8 Basic;

You haven't specified anything about how many agents and if they will use multimedia which is a big factor.

Although I wouldn't use that CPU in any setup since it only supports 4 threads.
I always have hardware that supports at least 8 threads and even more on bigger customers or those who use e-mail.

I would get them to look at at least Xeon Silver CPUs and also look at RAIDing 2 disks rather than just having one.

Like Jannie says, the number of Agents and uses is very important. The docs will help guide you.
