Ipocc windows client 10.1.2.2 error: could not contact a license server

Hi,

I installed Ipocc windows client 10.1.2.2 in new users'pc and receiving the error:Could not contact a license server. And users are not able to login. Existing users are able to login to the ipocc client in their pc. It's new new users unable to login. I'v tried new user account to login in the existing user's client and successfully logged in. Host file has been included with the ipocc server ip address and hostname in the new user pc.

Hoping someone can help.

Most likely you didn't enter the correct server address when you installed the client.

Thanks for asiisting. The IP address of the server is correct. In one user laptop, user A with basic AD user access credentional is able to access the ipocc client login page but in the same laptop user B with AD admin rights when open the ipocc client, gets the error message.

Is there any rights need to be given to the Avaya folder or registry?

In TTrace you can see what is going wrong on that client, should show what site it tries to access for licensing.

Settings are stored on the client in registry under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Avaya\IPOCC\CCUI
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Avaya\IPOCC\Licensing\Servers

You should be able to reach the URL from a browser for license to work.

Make sure you're not using any proxies for accessing that website.

Hi ,

I have checked the registry keys and found no issue. The License server is in cloud (IPOCC anywhere)
