Hy guys,

IPO and IPOCC 9.1.8

I have a client with outbound calls only, I have configured ipocc as shown bellow.
dialer_settings_cqonwp.png

Agents are reporting that calls with closure are being again called by the system after minutes or hours (random) despite the settings above..
Maybe i am not understanding these settings, but a call withclosre (let's say answering machine) should be called again after 14440 minutes right ? :)

If the dial parameters on the Campaign is set to "Use system default" it should.

What I found out when testing this in 9.1.0 at least, was that my Topic dialer wouldn't use the system default settings even though selected so I had to configure the settings on each dialer.
Try to configure the same settings on the campaign instead of using defaults and see if that solves the issue.

I haven't bothered to raise this issue with Avaya since I have bunch of others that are of higher priority for me.

Hy,

Good point. I have changed these settings and I have to wait and see...
Thanks for the tip! :)

Hy,

So far so good.. no more complains about this :)

But now I have another question.

All jobs have States.. and for some jobs i get Failed, Timed out or Ended, Timed out.. and from what i can see is that the system calls thoes numbers only once.. Can someone explain what's the deal with the states? i find it hard to understand. I mean, what's the difference between ended and failed..
the documentation sais :

Failed [Failed] Specifies that the destination is not reachable. The system does not dial the job again. -> this is an error.
Ended [Ended] Specifies that the job is over. The system does not dial this job again. - succesfull state..

but i am still confused about the states i am having. :)
