IPOCC 9.0.3 Install Issues

Hi -

I recently installed IPOCC 9.0.3. I've got the configuration worksheet all set and loaded on the server. I've started the Import Jobber and it asks for the database login/password. I've entered them, and I know they are correct, but I'm getting the error please validate the dbuser and dbpassword and make sure SQL is running.

Everything in the TTrace shows green and all the SQL processes have started with the exception of Sybase_XPServer_ASE, which states its a manual start process and I don't think its needed.

So does anyone know how to fix and get past this error?

IPOCC uses many manual services so no need to change them.
How long did you wait?

It's been days. Can you confirm for me that that service does need to be running? Every time I manually start it I get the error 1067 process terminated unexpectedly.

I did too - sort of. I don't remember seeing exactly which processes need to be running, but I do remember that once the TTrace was green you should be good to go.

I really need to find a way around this!

It possible then use the ova file.
This is a preinstalled server which you can run virtually on VMware.
All you need is a server 2008 licence.

Do you have only one nic enabled and IPv6 enabled?
