Ipo500v2 embbeded voicemail

Dear expert,

We are using the ipo500v2 and use the embbeded voicemail. My customer recorded a greeting in his extension 700. Now she wants to change the greeting remotely.

Where I can find the wave file ( for this greeting). Can I upload a new greeting to replace the previous one?

she will have to access her VM remotly & then change the greating using the TUI

it is possible to convert a wav file to be used as a greeting but it is not the ideal way to perform this type of task

Hi MoJHK,

You would need to convert the WAV file to the correct format to be able to upload it to the system, in all honesty, i have always found this to be a pain. If you have a spare DDI, point it to VoiceMail, make sure the user has a pin code set on their voicemail tab, then they could dial in via that DDI to access their mailbox and re-record it (it will ask for account number - that is their extension and password).

But i must stress don't leave the DDI that is pointing to voicemail open, either remove it afterwards or lock it down to their mobile number (I may be a bit ott on security).
