IPO - what IP desk phones and why?

Looking to this experienced group for some feedback. What models of IP phones are customers buying today and why? Have their been changes in buying behaviour and why?

Most people seem to buy the 16xx series handsets because they are cheapest. Personally I always try and sell the 9608 as a minimum handset (hate paper labels).
