IPO v7.xx manager admin password?

Ok, have a client that my now EX telco sub-contractor recently installed an IPO 500 system for. I now need to connect to the system/admin software. I'm worried even though I may be able to install the software, and find the switch, that this guy password protected the software! How can I access the current config w/o password?
I can't simply install sw on a LAN computer, and re-setup. All existing phones will have to be re-installed?
Any way to maybe connect a laptop direct to the switch port and somehow get into sw that way - w/o passwd of course.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Using manager, try the default security username and password to get in an reset the administrator password.

If that does not work, use the DTE port with the command: AT-SECURITYRESETALL
