Customer has centrex, 2 lines, 4 extensions. Combo card
1) Callers complain that her speaker phone cuts or clips while she is speaking. I had her place a neoprene mouse pad under the front of the phone to absorb reflected sound (old partner trick) but did not help much. Seems to clip more when she is closer to the phone.
2) Customer complains of buzzing or scratchy sound in her phone when on a call. Cannot hear it on the far end. I have changed the Mains hum filter frequency to no improvement. Also tried impedance matching on both lines.
3) Customer must dial 9 to dial out on centrex lines. I added 9 to "digit(s) to break dial tone" but it does not work when trying to redial from call log.

George,

From what I'm seeing in the help file, the "digit(s) to break dial tone" setting is only used for impedence testing, and in your case (with Centrex) it should be set to 92. Did the "Automatic Balance Impedence Match" test yield any good results?

Dan

If it ain't broke, why fix it?
If it's broke, try to fix it..
If you can't fix it, get yourself a good baseball bat and swing away! :)
