IPO to ACM qsig trunk

Hello all,

We have a setup like;

<---SIP---> IP500 <---QSIG---> ACM <--->extensions

No were missing some call setup info from the IP500 to Avaya CM.
We can make calls in and out from and to a mobile phone to and from any extension no problem, but we would like to redial a missed call on the extension.

When an extension misses a call it will show the "tac" trunk id from the ACM.

So the IP500 does not send the external number as a number but as a display name. "NO-CPNumber" I know we might need a Avaya SBC but is there anyway to make it with an IPO?

That's the same issue as with directory matching, the IPO actually receives the CLI as a name so that's how it treats it, not sure what can be done :)

I am fairly certain it does, never actually tested it. It did work when I did it with a H323 trunk to an older Definity system :)

I have QSIG over IP from our ACM to my IPO and i get name and number on my caller ID. I dont see the TAC. look at page 3 of the trunk group i think. send caller name and send caller number maybe. I dont have access to our ACM.

Hi Kevin, from the extension it's all ok, but when the call comes in over SIP then the IPO only sends display NAME with the CPN. we want the CPN also in the CPN record.

I do see some info from the IPObut it looks like 012345678@1.1.1.1
So it could be the ACM does not recognize he @1.1.1.1

We now have it working with a Qsig PRI, the only thing what is not working jet is the EC500 function from the ACM.

The numbers are matching 1on1.

Bas1234, is the sip trunk on the ipo or the CM?
How many ddi's if on the ipo?

When it is a sip trunk on the ipo then route it to a shortcode and send the cli again with this shortcode.

The setup is;

300 DDI's
60 Sip channels (incomming/ougoing)
60 Qsig "PRI channels" (incomming/ougoing)

SIP call come in on the IPO and go out of the IPO.

ICR;
InNr -101234XXX / 0101234# (main number is like 010-1234567 10 digits)
SC;
0101234XXX / Dial / . / Qsig lineId


tlpeter, the IPO send the correct info the the ACM.
But I could try it next week, so could this SC work?

0101234XXX / Dial / .SA / Qsig lineId

I have just build a QSIG yesterday to a voice responce system that needed the CLI of the DDI on the ipo.

I tried that one, I will try it again. Maybe I it works now, did some more tweaking after that.
