IPO server edition

Hi,
I have two server edition IP office 500 at two different location.
Now we have setup VPN and i want both these systems to talk to each other.
Question is --- Can i connect these systems by means of SCN? OR should i make it as primary server and expansion system??

I think you should start by clarifying exactly what you have.

You either have a Server Edition or a IP500 (or maybe both on a location), there is no Server Edition IP Office 500.

You could also have it as a primary/ secondary.
