IPO Server Edition Upgradation Problem

Hello Guys

I have IPO server Edition in R9.1. IPO Server R9.1 is working Fine & I am Trying to add Expansion Unit 500v2 which was default in Release 9 with Primary server & I Got Error Upgrade license Required.

So I Purchase Upgrade license on 500V2 SD Card,but it shows obsolute when I install license, so i changed the mode of 500v2 to Standard Mode & Than Upgrade the Unit. Upgradation successful. Their was no Error of up gradation license. It worked.
& than i make it expansion and add it to server. But when I make that unit the expansion again I got the same error.

so do I need to purchase the license on server ? or I am missing something here ?

Upgrade license on SE environment need to be generate on Server FK not on IP500v2

Ok I applied license on SE.Thanks
