Hi AlL,
I am having issue on the IPO Server Edition installed on Virtual Machine, after ip changes in the LAN2 and restarted the system, i got an error "the system ID has changed: you must require license based on new fingerprint." and the old license will stil valid for a limited period of time" . please help us to resolve the issue. thank you.

Get a new license from your distributor. If you change lan1, lan2, the timezone, or something else - hostname i think- then the system id for licensing changes. Seems like its just a way to prevent people from reselling their systems afterwards.

thanks Kyle555, if i only reboot the server without any changes, is there will be no issue on license? this issue will only occurs if i change LAN1 , LAN2, hostname and timezone, am i right??

Correct, however at this point you already appear to require the new licence. You just need to do a licence swap with a BP fro mthe old ID to the new.

If you can change the values to their original settings you will get the old system ID again.

Do you not have any snap shots ?

ACSS (UC/SBCE/SM/SME)

Not that they mean a thing anymore , get a brain dump pass the test crash the system.
