Have a customer who we upgraded from 7.0 to 9.0 Server Edition, and maintained their IPO as an expansion for their local phones and PRI.

They had a Receptionist license on the IPO which now says Invalid (see attached licensing sheet). The customer is wanting to install SoftConsole and have the Receptionist login to it. He has installed the software, but gets an error "No Licenses Are Available".

Thoughts? And as always, thanks..

The Receptionist license needs to be on the SE, not on the node.
All IP endpoints and user licensing goes on the SE.

So how are the licenses moved to the SE from the expansions? This was installed a few years ago..

Transfer licenses from SD to SID, install new blank SD card, send old SD back to Avaya

Which actual system does the receptionist connect to for their phone the SE or the IPO

If they connect to the SE then the receptionist licence should be on the SE, if they connect to the IPO then the licence should be on the expansion (at least that is what the docs say) as they are classed as local node licences and not centralised licences.

Pepp77 is correct That licenses need to go on same system the receptionist is programmed on.
