IPO Server Edition, 10.0.7 - config erased after merge?

Hi all, I have a server edition 10.0.7 and after making minor changes to a couple DIDs, then merging the config, the entire config was erased, everything except the IP Address. This happened twice after merging minor changes. I am going to be upgrading the system to 10.1 over the weekend, but has anyone else seen this behavior before or know what causes it?

pushing a config with older manager has nuked some things for me - mostly sip phone passwords in 9.1.6 when pushing a 9.1.4 manager config.

I've hex dumped the configs before to poke around for stuff out of curiosity. LAN1 IP is near the top. The rest is way deeper. Something your Manager put together must have been really screwy!
