IPO SE 11.1 hunt group unanswered calls failed to route VMpro "Voicemail Node" short code fallback destination.

VMpro "Voicemail Node" short code direct calls working well.


The requirement, Hotel guest room hunt group unanswered call need to route 3rd voicemail mailbox. It is not working directly, so the call routing to the 3rd party mailbox through the VMpro short code call flow.

Is there any alternate way can achieve the requirement...?
 
This is the third thread you've create for this issue and is still has your hallmark of giving as little information as possible. Hence why your posts here and in other Tek-Tips forums don't get answered.

You have an IP Office configured to use TigerTMS which is a third-party voicemail and hospitality system. So trying to use any Voicemail Pro/Embedded Voicemail short code features is a waste of time.

Tiger have already told you that they don't support voicemail for hunt groups - which is probably crashing into the IP Office behaviour of always sending calls leaving messages to the mailbox of the original call target (if you call a hunt group, it goes to the hunt group mailbox even if the call was ringing against an agent or had been transferred outside the group).

You probably need to be looking at monitor or SSA traces for calls. Call extension X and see what the IP Office dials when it redirects that call to TMS voicemail. Do the same for a hunt group and try to spot the difference. (If I understand correctly the voicemail connection uses SIP so the calls to voicemail are probably to numbers like 201@192.168.0.100 (extension_number@tiger_server_address). If you can spot what the IP Office dials to send a call to a user's mailbox, create a short code that does the same, and change the group's Group No Answer Destination to be that short code.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.
