Hey all,

Have an IP Office R8 BASIC Edition. (Set to PBX Mode)

Inbound calling works fine but outbound just drops an attempted call.

Help file references the R7 which shows Dial Tables and ARS but there is no such thing in the R8 Basic. Well, at least that I can find.

Here is what I get when I attempt a call.
Code:

Thanks for your help!

Under system set-up you need to specify the number of lines otherwise it will try to grab from all line ports even if they have nothing plugged into them. If you have that set correct, I would also run Impedence Match for each line.

Where do I specify that? I do not see where I can specify the number of lines in System setup. I did go through the line Impedance Match ok.

Ah, that is only available when I select Key System. This is a PBX.

Under Trunks, Outbound Call Handling is used for pbx mode to assign lines to extensions.

The only thing I get under Trunks is Installed trunks which shows the trunks themselves and the basic coverage options. I do not see Outbound Call Handling anywhere. See image. (It is also not under the Advanced setup)

Trunks page. (IP Office R8 BASIC)

If you have it set to pbx mode, under Trunks on the left-side you see SIP Trunk Handling and Outbound Call Handling. You want to click on Outbound Call Handling. I would go to Help, and search outbound call handling. You will find what you need there.

I do not see SIP Trunk Handling at all. Reference the screen shots, that is all I see.

Go to view, and uncheck Hide Admin Tasks....which if you went to help, and typed outbound call handling it will tell you this as well.
