I thought that IPO R8.0.18 was supposed to fix the issue with R7 systems upgrading to R8 within the 90-day entitlement period. The system has VM Pro - and the licenses today showed up as "dormant". I upgraded from R8.0.16 to R8.0.18 to fix the issue - and the licenses stayed dormant despite several reboots - and the "virtual" essential edition license never showed up.
I am now downgrading back to the original R7.0.27 Manager to fix the issue with Vm Pro - but am really pissed that Avaya did NOT fix this issue as it claimed it did!
I guess I now have to contact the distributor to obtain a "courtesy" R8 software upgrade license - unless someone has other suggestions.
Should I downgrade to R7 - and then try to upgrade directly to R8.0.18??
