I'm trying to setup an internal conection in and iPhone with 1XM in IPO Server Edition conecting via WiFi.

My setup is:
IPO Server/One-X Portal : 192.168.10.100 (services running in the server)

My problem is with internal DNS. I understand the setting when IPO and 1XP have different IP address. But in this case I have the same IP address. Someone has setting this in Server Edition?

I have one FQDN for both One-X and the IPO SE.
This is because it is the same IP address so no need for split DNS and two FQDN's
So configure your DNS server that internal traffic goes to the server and you are done.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

So I put the FQDN ipo.domain.com both in IM/Presence en 1XP and in the LAN Interface in IPO... I have a Expansion Server IN500v2. I don't have to put Domain information in the LAN interface in the IP500v2?

Yes in both places and no not on the expansion system.
I have it running this o our own server edition.

Ok. I connect succesfully via iPhone and Android phone with FQDN from Public Internet. I can manage my presence. But I cannot make calls. When I set VoIP in the App the status color in the App turns red en send the error App.Registration.Alert.Message (Error Connection).

I try toi make calls using the phone via Mobile Twinning configuration in IPO but the call can't progress. Monitor says that the ARS is not found (I guess that I make some mistake in the some point...

I need some special consideration to set mobile VoIP in App correctly?

Does your user have the Power User license?

Are all the necessary ports forwarded?

Yes. Power User, Remote SIP Extn, Remote Worker... all the ports are open

Does it work internally and or externally?

Only externally. I can connect to the OneX Portal service. I test using IM between One-X Mobile user and a Softphone user and it works. So the signaling and data interchange are good.

The problem is with voice (in telecommunter/twinning and in VoIP9. In telecommuter I see the call trying to establish (I need to see more carefully the monitor messages) but in VoIP i have an error in the App.

I don't understand how the 1XP manage the voice channel with IPO. Do you know a documentation about setting this in Server Edition environment?

It seems to be an internal DNS issue.

I guess you are right because internally I don't have and DNS and the IPO don't have a domain name because the client don't have a DNS server... duh...

But I have an idea. Do you think it can works?

1.- LAN1 to the private address
2.- LAN2 to the public address
3.- ipo.domain.com in the LAN2 with Remote SIP Ext and public IP address
4.- 1xp.domain.com in XMPP/IM Presence in One-X Portal
5.- The external DNS resolve ipo.domain.com and 1xp.domain.com to the same public address in LAN2

Comments...

Actually that is how i have it :)
We use a dedicated external IP address for our SE and when i am internal then it will go out and back in to the server.
Not really how it should be as i also could not get this implemented on a DNS server.
I just have the correct ports forwarded and the FQDN pointed to the right external IP address.

To make it clear:

IN IPO:
LAN1 : 192.168.42.1
LAN2 : 192.168.43.1
Domain: ipo.domain.com (Resolved to Public IP and NATed to 192.168.43.1)
SIP Remote Extn Enable (check)
Public IP Address : <Public IP>
Firewall : Open Internet

In 1XP:
IM/Presence: ipo.domain.com (the same in SE)

Do you mean open internet for the stun settings?
I have it set to full cone nat and set a stun server address and run it on startup.

I have the One-X Mobile working perfectly in WiFi in premise. But outside the private network I have no audio. When I see the RTP sessions in Monitor I have two sessions:

IP OFFICE IP ADDRESS LAN1 - IP PHONE IP ADRESS
IP OFFICE IP ADDRESS LAN1 - DEFAULT GATEWAY IN LAN1 SEGMENT

Is this correct? It's normal? It seems that the audio lost in some point. When I put On Hold in the mobile I hear the music on hold on the phone, but when I put On Hold in the IP phone I don't hear anything.

So... A month later and I'm in the same problem. Connect fin but no audio.

My connection is the follow (ficticious IPs):

LAN1 : 192.168.42.100
Gateway : 192.168.42.1
Domain Name : uc.domain.com
SIP Remote Extn : Enable
Public IP : 181.200.200.123
TCP, UCP, TLS: Checked (5060, 5060, 5061)

Internally resolved : uc.domain.com -> 192.168.42.100
Externally resolved : uc.domain.com -> 181.200.200.123

I can connect outside the network and make calls in VoIP mode. But I have no audio. When I see the IP involved in the RTP exchange, I see:

Local : [IP Address of the phone]
Remote: 192.168.42.100

But seeing the documentation I must see:

Remote: 181.200.200.123

I can put the call On-Hold and the extension in the client network heard the music wait. I can transfer, conference...

Anyone have a clue about this?

Needs to be: Internally resolved : uc.domain.com -> Public ip addr.

Well... Everything is working fine (it was a problem with the NAT Traversal thing). How can I setup the codec so the calls to Mobile clientes use G.729. I need to create a location with the public segment?[pre][/pre]
