IPO not playing busy tone.

Got an issue with an IP500v2 and an ISDN30.

Every so often, the IPO doesn't present engaged tone to the user when the other end is busy.

Had the line provider look at multiple call examples and they've confirmed that in every instance the other end is busy. On the phone, the call just hangs with the timer counting up.

had the issue on 6.0(8) and upgraded to 6.0(18) but it hasn't resolved it.

anyone else seen this before?

I have seen this when going through a line side call logger or recorder, basically they don't push the call progress tones/ messages through correctly :)

This used to happen on older IPO's and Offhook station would fix it. Might be worth a shot.

I bet you have more than one ISDN circuit and a backup ARS to the second ISDN???

I;ve seen this on 6.0 where there was backup ARS in plkay and was a bug fixed in 6.0(18xxx)
