Any ideas are appreciated. It's a doozy, but a client ordered a PRI for their ancient PBX (Definity cabinet size of a refrigerator) and didn't have PRI licensing. Can't get licensing today and was 10K when they bought the system and decided against it so they were working off of WATS trunks.
To hold them over until they can decide on a new system or voip solution, we have an IP500 V1 R5 with a dual PRI card on a legacy card carrier board receiving the SIP trunk via a PRI handoff from an Edgemarc router. Basic NI2, ESF, B8ZS PRI settings. Then a T1, E&M Tie, wink/wink trunk to the CM.
Inbound and outbound are functional (slight dialing delay on outbound), but the client is claiming poor call quality and "ringing" on calls.
Not sure if there are any settings I can change on the IPO side. I also don't trust the old equipment we are using.
