Hello All,

I have a customer that I have quoted an IPO 500 6.1 to. I attended a meeting with the customer and their IT manager. I was informed that they are using MS Exchange Server 2010. The IT manager told me that it is quite a bit different from previous relaeases; 2007, 2008 , etc.
I called the Avaya ATAC and spoke with Frank and he stated that Avaya has integerated with MS Exchange Server 2008 but nothing beyond.
Was wondering if anyone has an IPO 500 working with MS Exchange Server 2010, and what issues if any that you have run into.

Thanks for your help!

Brian

have you tried following the procedure for exchange 2007 and see how far you get?

the reason why Avaya fobbed you off is because the dont support exch2010 yet, but it doesnt mean it wont work.

Sure there are differences in 2010 but there is nothing different between Exchange 2010 and Exchange 2007 that would break UMS or standard voicemail to email.

We have IPO 6.1 working correctly with Exchange 2010 integration.

A bit of history:

We had it working with IPO 5.0.

After installing IPO 6.0 (GA) and 1st maint rel it quit working (nothing could fix it).

After installing IPO 6.1 it started working again.

Note: The instructions provided by Avaya (at least when we originally installed at the 5.0 release) were not -ahem- complete and we needed MS knowledge to get everything up and running.

Hope this helps.
