All,
I have a customer with a small SCN over VPN(2 remote sites and Centralized VM at primary) where I cannot get the VM Pro to recognize the DTMF from the remote sites. Upon initial setup this worked without issue but on day 3 it suddenly stopped. I have tried locking down the codec on the 323 trunks, raising the vm record level and even doing a repair on then VM. The odd thing is that a monitor trace at the primary site on an active call displays the keypress but a vm debug does not. Also to clarify the voicemail sees the DTMF at the primary site just fine. Any ideas what's going on here?

More Info on SCN setup...
All 3 sites linked via VPN tunnels using Sonicwall TZ200
All 3 sites using Avaya 9508 phones
All 3 sites using Mediacom broadband cable for ISP
Calls between the sites working exceptionally with no Qos issues
Calls from primary site to vmpro work fine, only calls to vmpro over 323 trunks fail to pass DTMF

I have experinced this same issue with 63. I backed my systems down to 43 and it resolved the issue. I am not sure what newer vesions fix the issue as well but I am trying to find out.

I downgraded all 3 systems to 8.1.43 last night, this has fixed the key press or DTMF issue for now. Thanks PhoneMan777!

I've been having this issue as well, with version 8.1(65) but not consistently. Calls that are placed to cenralized VM across SCN have been dropping dtmf digits, so the ?U feature doesn't work, from remote sites.
Rebooting the IP Office at the central site resolves the issue temporarily, but that isn't practical throughout the day. Calls coming into remote sites on digital trunks routed across SCN to CVM have the issues as well of course, so menu selections in VM call flow do not work either. Is downgrading to 6.43 the solution?

avaya put out 8.1.67 to resolve this issue on friday the 22nd of March.

Hmmm.. the TB 152 doesn't elude to this as a fix in release 8, but does in TB 153.

lol, keep getting this from Avaya support site:

Avaya Support said:
Error 500--Internal Server Error

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

10.5.1 500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an unexpected condition which prevented it from fulfilling the request.

Best thing they ever did getting rid of their TFTP server.....:)

I am getting same error amriddle01. Unable to download the 8.1.67 Maintenance Release

I've already contacted Avaya about not being able to access the software... AGAIN after they've updated it. Happens every #$@% time.

The doc talks about corrections on 8.1.63, that means this MR does not include all the 8.1FP feature and we should wait a specific MR ?

Did the 8.0 patch that came out fix the issue? I see that the 8.1 has the fix but the release doc for 8.0 does not mention it at all.
