IPO 500v2 Hunt Group VM Recording Issue

Hey all,

I'm having a problem with hunt groups specifically recording the voicemail message. I'm running on embedded voicemail r9 build 941.

I have a hunt group lets say 200.
I dial *91200, press 2 to record, 2 to finish, 3 to save. Confirmed with 1 that my recording is there.
Called into the AA and reached the hunt group 200. However after voicemail kicks in, it plays the default stock message (there is no one to take your message......) instead of the one I just recorded.
Queuing is on by default and announcements is off by default.

This is weird because I've done this for another site before and the above worked fine although for a earlier build version. Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
 
You are using the wrong code.

Build *99
Voicemail collect
?

Now dial in *99 mailbox 200 password if you have set one up
 
Tried this. Recorded my own greeting from there. Still when I call AA>300>stock prompt(there is no one to take your message) instead of my recorded voice.
 
Use SSA to monitor the call and see what mailbox it goes in to.

Test the mailbox by leaving a message from a phone by dialing the hunt group extn 200
 
So out of nowhere after a while it trying voicemail collect over and over again, the speech stuck. Thanks snowman! What I want to get though is *91XXXX not suppose to work at all for what I'm trying to do?
 
you said you had announcements off... the SC you referenced is for recording the 1st announcement (*92N is for the second). You're not using the announcements, so you'd never hear the results of what you recorded.

This is entirely different than recording the VM greeting message for the hunt group which is what the SC that Snowman 50 is for.
