Just wondering if there was anything extra that needs to be added. The customer had a working SIP door phone (2n IP Force), so the system had licences, was configured etc. As I rarely touch IPO anymore, we got a 3rd party to do an upgrade from version 8.1 to 11.0. A while later, the customer notices that the door phone is no longer working. I've logged on to both the system and the door phone and have retyped the passwords, I can ping successfully both ways. I've tried the IPO config with/without a user password. There's no SIP domain name or FQDN, so the door phone should just register to the IP address. The licences were converted to PLDS. Is there something else that needs to be done in V11 for it to work?

I thank you playmates.

You need to add the SIP FQDN and Domain to the config. You can use just the IP address one the IPO LAN1 in those fields if you'd like. You won't get anything to register without something configured there.

Make sure that SIP registrar is turned on as well. R11 has a habit of turning it off. It is only supposed to do it if there are no SIP extensions but I have seen it do it after an upgrade before.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Thanks for the replies, DaIPOTek's suggestion worked. After an upgrade, a SIP extension won't register with the system IP address as it did previously.
