The customer gets a call on extension 210. She picks up the handset to answer (the speaker button light) comes on and the call is dropped.

get it logged with Avaya - known issue with all 54xx series phones (most of my sites are 406 V2s and mainly the 5420s) - there's a maintenance patch out which fixes a VOLUME problem, which apparantly isn't out for another 1 1/2 MONTHS!!! what a joke

Any idea where I can get this patch - as it's just happened to me (403DS with 54xx phones)?

U must report the problem to avaya and they will authorize you to dl the patch w/ username and pass. You must report the problem w/ every instance or system. If you dont, they may not validate your warranty.
