This is goofy and I am stuck.
The situation is a definity CM1.2 to a IPO 403 2.1.35 via a fiber optic cable with fiber/ethernet muxs at each end. Then into HP 24 port switches. So it is only 2 HP switches and the fiber and our equipment. All calls from the IPO are going out the fiber line and to the CM and out its PRI. All DID calls come into the CM over fiber to the IPO. The issue is dropping calls? A DID call comes in and is connected and while talking intermittently the calls drop. The phone on the IPO stays up, but the call dies.
I had this with Tier 3 and we checked all the CM settings IP-COdec's and everything else. They cannot see why. We replaced the IPO, upgraded firmware on the clan and medpro, no luck.
I don't know where to go from here and we have people getting mad. Any idea's?
