IPMP data flow question

If you set up IPMP as Active/Active I understand that data will be sent from both interfaces. Does anyone know if the IP address is masked so that it appears that the data is coming from the same IP address?

We have an application that expects data from one IP address only so I don't see how we can use the IPMP Active/Active.

I know that we could set it up as Active/Standby but I wanted to take advantage of the extra outbound traffic if possible.
