IPLU resources

TS 3.1 SP3, when i call comes in through a CAS trunk to an IP phone in the system what resources am i taking:

1. One RTP resource of the IPLU 32 RTP resources?
2. will that consume any DTMF resources?
3. if the IP ext A puts the external call on hold and calls another IP ext B how many resources are used?
4. if the IP ext A puts the external call on hold and call another analog extension and transfer the call how many IP resources are used?

What resources does the IPLU have? rtp and DTMF detectors? DTMF senders? so no need for SPU4 with IPLU? any need for TMU board?

from what I know:

IPLU = 32 rtp resources + DTMF detection (on each channel)
concerning the on hold issue:

for the ip phones you need Media gateway to send Moh.
so rtp resources :


rtp resource to IP ext B, one TMU/RVA resource for the trunk.

2. will that consume any DTMF resources? depending on ASPAC
each IPLU channel has DTMF detection
3. if the IP ext A puts the external call on hold and calls another IP ext B how many resources are used?
-> two RTP resources for the IP phones (forward and reverse voice path to other IP phone = direct media)

4. if the IP ext A puts the external call on hold and call another analog extension and transfer the call how many IP resources are used? same as point 1
