Hi,

Does anyone know if an IPLU card will work in /50 hardware with BC13.

If it will, how many gatekeeper calls can be made concurrently?

I can't get a straight answer out of my maintainer.

Thanks

Deb

this card will work in a /50.

The IPLU uses 32 timeslots, so it can maintain 32 gateway calls...

I`m having trouble getting DBC4420 to work with IPLU in TSW SP3.
In LAN environment all is OK, but when I move 4420 behind NAT firewall, extension want register to gatekeeper. Idea is to log IP extensions over Internet.
IPLU is on PUBLIC IP address!
I`ve done a lot of research regarding this and tryed many things (h323_conntrack, DMZ,...), but no solution.
Does anyone have an idea what routing/firewall equipment to use(other than Cisco), so h323 can work when NAT-ed?
Is it posible that Ericssons h323 is somehow different from standard, because I`ve manged to log and speak with NetMeeting as an IP extension?

are these port ranges open through firewall?

Minimum Maximum
RAS 1718 1719
H.225 1720 1720
H.245 50002 52492
RTP 16384 18874
RTCP 16385 18875
WAP 9200 9200

have you done ethereal traces?

In one of tryes, I`ve had whole range (1025 to 65534) of ports forwarded to extension IP address - didn`t help.
I`ll try again with range and protocol specified.
I`m using Wireshark instead Ethereal, and there I can see only that RAS on port 1719 (h323gatestat) is going throug the firewall, but nothing is coming back. However, when I`m looking WAN interface of the router/firewall, I can see that gatekeeper is replying.

I`ll try Etheral, and post some captures

Thanks to parnum for interest and reply
