i managed to setup 2 ipldk-60 connected via H.323. everything is working fine. but i dont know how to configure tandem calling between the two systems.

lets say DKT on system 2 can access its local connection to the PSTN and can also access the PSTN of the other system.

i have no ip networking license. is that required?

A networking license should be installed.
I tried once the tamdem issue, some years ago, but couldn't get it working.
You could try it ou wiyh these hints:
LCR in node 1 should bring your call out to the VoIP trunk that connects node 1 and 2.
In the LCR additional ciphering (such as prefix dialling) should be possible, so you can seize a CO line in the other node.
So, you should give it a try through the LCR.

You don´t need licenses for Networking

Doktor: I have a example of Networking
How I send it for you?

morenot, can i have your sample as well? is it alright to post email address here?

in LCR, we can let 1xx or even just 9 go to ip trunks but how will the system know in which ipldk will it go and how it will it send it to that system's PSTN access?

You can not post your email here.
But you can email me and I will forward just the example of Networking.

Do you use the SIP phones (LIP-6812 and 6830) to the ipLDK-60? What about H.323 phones like LIP-24 and LIP-7024, can they also be used with the ipLDK-60?

Doktor:

We have only available IPPhone: LIP 6012D, LIP6030D and Phontage, these I had configuered.

Also exist IP 8540 and USB 8501 and I had not play with them

doktor, morenot, thanks for the ppt. this is the guide i also guide but i guess i missed out on something.

i did not follow the guide exactly. i put LCOB at CO Grp 1 and VOIB at CO grp 2 so when i press 9, i will still go out on the local pstn. at PGM 322, CO 1-3 is type PSTN, NET CO group 1. CO 4-7 is type NET, NET CO group 2

at PGM 324, in slave system, at bin 02, i have the ff:
BTN 1 (usage)=PSTN
BTN 2 (STA number)=71
BTN 3 (NET CO Grp)=2
BTN 4 (CPN IP Information)=ip of the VOIB of master system
BTN 7 (Digit repeat)=yes

at PGM 324, in master system, at bin 02, i have the ff:
BTN 1 (usage)=PSTN
BTN 2 (STA number)=71
BTN 3 (NET CO Grp)=2
BTN 4 (CPN IP Information)=ip of the VOIB of master system
BTN 7 (Digit repeat)=yes

so when i press 71 on DKT on the slave system, i get line 04 but no dial tone

If you deal with VoIP lines, you must set the PGM 324-BTN 2 to NET.

And note also this:
PGM 324-BTN 4 (CPN IP Information)=ip of the VOIB of master system.
This should be programmed for the SLAVE system.

++++
PGM 324-BTN 4 (CPN IP Information)=ip of the VOIB of SLAVE system.
This should be programmed for the MASTER system.

Try to follow morenot's description!
